Mr. Amir Haider Khan Hoti is unanimously elected as Cheif Minister NWFP

Mr. Amir Haider Khan Hoti is elected as Chief Minister of North West Frontier Province of Pakistan on Tuesday, 113 members of NWFP provincial assembly present and voting have unanimously elected him as chief minister.
Prior to commencement of procedure regarding election of chief minister, elected provincial assembly member Peer Sabir Shah has requested the speaker Mr. Karamutullah Chagharmatti to set date for discussion on American CIA director Mr. Michael Hayden’s interview in which according to peer Sabir Shah director CIA has announced attacks on tribal area located on Pak Afghan border to eliminate danger of Alqaida militants attacks on USA.

I have started my journey from Kohat towards Islamabad on Saturday morning, while heading towards a point in a public transport vehicle on Kohat Pindi road to catch a coach for Islamabad, when I have reached in Togh village on a roadside shop it was written in Urdu language ‘the barber has managed to escape’ due to heavy pressure from Taliban militants barbers have closed their shops in many villages located on Kohat Pindi road, when I have reached near the overhead bridge which links Indus highway with Kohat friendship tunnel hundreds of vehicles were stopped on the road, due to security forces operation in Dara Adam Khel tribal area, Kohat friendship tunnel route which links southern districts of NWFP with its Peshawar capital is kept remain closed during the night and in morning it becomes open for traffic, damaged tunnel is repaired now and traffic moves smoothly in it provided there is no attack from Taliban militants whom are scattered in the area and keep on striking back on check posts erected by security forces.
Near the overhead bridge I was boarded in coach heading for Islamabad, after comfortably placing myself in its front seat, I have started responding to the questions of driver whom was quite talkative, when I told the driver that his coach is not so luxurious as compare to coaches running on roads in USA, he has told me that he is from Albader militant organization and had fought actively in Afghanistan in early 1980’s, he had kept on narrating stories of his heroic deeds till the coach had reached near entry point of Islamabad through motorway, I came out from the coach and was looking for a taxi suddenly a white car reached near me and its driver after opening the door has asked me about my destination I told him that on zero point APP head office is located where remains of Hitler are now my colleagues and I am supposed to collect my two months salary cheque from their because they were unwilling to send it well in time through mail as they usually do. He had laughingly told me that he is also heading towards the same direction, I joined him and soon we both were heading towards zero point.
Soon I had entered in the gate of APP head office where lame attendant was standing their to receive me his lameness is out come of polio, but he is quite confident and good looking, soon I was sitting before Hitler of present age working as account clerk in APP head office, he has blamed Executive Director Finance Mr. Barlas for delay of my salary cheque, I straight away told him I am the most qualified person in APP, and despite of my polite requests you people are unwilling to provide me the job in accordance with my qualification, every month I spend 200$ from my own pocket to do this job of correspondent, soon manger accounts had also joined our conversation, is it fair that you want me to work for you round the clock, shall use my mobile phone, my laptop and hired taxi vehicles for collection of reports for you only for mere 50$ per month.
The Hitler’s have only one answer do you want to live in Pakistan? If it is so then work for us and do not raise voice.
I have reached APP Head Office at 9:am in the morning and till 2:pm in the afternoon my cheque was signed, but the bank time was over, I have contacted my cousin, had got cash from him and given him the cheque so he can cash it on Monday to get his money back, during all this torturous activity I was also listening to Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gailani, he sounds like a last hope for this Nation, meanwhile bureaucrats were raising questions about end of Frontier Crimes regulations and its implications, I have kept all my responses brief and have supported the stance of premier regarding restoration of trade and students unions.
Around 4:pm I have reached Faizabad from their I had caught a taxi which was driven by a youth from Waziristan, I asked how is the situation in Waziristan, young taxi driver had told me, people their want to live in peace but some among them consider themselves as fighters of Islam and are at logger heads with Pakistan Army, when I asked him throwing barbers out from their jobs will serve the cause of Islam, he has said no, militants are doing wrong by eliminating this profession.

Ceasefire between Mushti Khel and Kachai tribes of Kohat

Cease fire agreement is reached between elders of Mushti Khel and Kachai tribesmen of Kohat due to the efforts of district government of Kohat and Political Administration of Orakzai Agency, both belligerent tribes have handed over their trenches to FC in the troubled area.
Retired Justice Ibni Ali while talking to correspondent of Radio Pakistan Kohat has said that the conflict will be resolved through Council of elders and schedule and location of its meeting will be announced soon.
Seventeen precious lives were wasted earlier this week when in a meeting of council of elders held in FC Fort four persons were killed in shoot out between participants of meeting, afterwards, 11 more persons were killed in exchange of fire between Mushti Khel and Kachai tribesmen in Reehan Meela area of Kachai where participants were attacked on their way back from FC Fort built by British Colonial rulers, during heavy fighting erupted between both tribes after this incident according to elders of the area 50 Kachai tribesmen were killed, and due to firing from helicopters by Pakistan’s Security forces crop fields in Ustarzai area of Kohat are adversely affected, houses are damaged and large number of cattle are killed.

End of an unpopular Law

Newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gailani has got vote of confidence from the lower house elected members, consensus among elected members of National Assembly of Pakistan was built while extending vote of confidence to him, both opposition and ruling coalition have voted unanimously in his favor, it has never happened before in Parliamentary history of Pakistan.
During his speech at the floor of the house Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gailani has announced end of Frontier Crimes regulations through which tribal areas were controlled, FCR was creation of British Colonial rulers of Subcontinent, according to a top bureaucrat in NWFP FCR created and implemented was not so harsh law, but later on successive governments in Pakistan have kept on making additions and amendments in it, and due to its cruel nature it was termed as black law in NWFP and in tribal areas.

Soldier year 2008

Core Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Masood Aslam lays foundation stone of Fateh Muhammad Minhas Colony in Kohat Garrison on Thursday, which is being constructed in connection with soldier year 2008. The under construction colony is named after Naib Subidar Fateh Muhammad Minhas Shaheed, whom was martyred in a clash with militants in Bush Khel area of Dara Adam Khel.
According to ISPR sources while addressing a gathering of army officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and non commissioned officers in Kohat Garrison Core Commander has said that to officers of every rank and to soldiers of Pakistan Army all facilities are provided to them and steps are taken for their welfare so they can do their professional duties in apt manner and can get better facilities of life.


‘Three companions of proclaimed offender Zahid are arrested by Kohat police after exchange of fire on Thursday, while proclaimed offender Zahid has managed to escape, he was wanted by Chowni police station staff due to his alleged involvement in murder and attempted murder cases. Eight accused persons are arrested by staff of three different police stations in Kohat and collectively one repeater, one rifle, seven pistols, 800 cartridges of different bores and 1500 grams cannabis is recovered from their custody by police, cases against them are registered,’ Kohat police sources have said.

Militants attack on coach

Six persons are killed and one person was injured on Thursday when unknown miscreants have opened fire on Passenger Coach in Kurram agency, the coach was attacked by unknown miscreants near Chapri area on Tull Parachinar road,’ sources have said.
At 11:30 pm last night artillery fire, explosions and light gun fire was heard in near by areas of Dara Adam Khel tribal, sources have said that Taliban militants have launched attack on Pakistan security forces present in Dara Adam Khel, in retaliation artillery fire was opened on miscreants from Kohat till morning sounds of explosions are heard in Kohat district, artillery fire was stopped when miscreants have managed to escape. Rescue 15 police officials have confirmed that artillery fire from Kohat was towards Dara Adam Khel tribal area but were unable to provide details; sources have said that now Kohat friendship Tunnel is open for traffic.

Oath taking ceremony

On Tuesday oath taking ceremony of newly elected prime minister of Pakistan Mr. Yousuf Raza Gailani was held in President house Islamabad. Oath was administered by President of Pakistan Mr. Parvez Musharaf, foreign diplomats, Chief Justice Mr. Abdul Hameed Dogar, chiefs of Pakistan armed forces, care taker prime minister Mian Muhammad Soomro and his cabinet ministers were also present at this occasion, while addressing the gathering President has said that restoration of civilian rule will be accomplished after formation of provincial governments, and that he wants to work as bridge between Pakistan’s political parties and has assured his full cooperation to newly elected government of coalition parties.
Upon orders of newly elected Prime Minister Mr. Yousuf Raza Gailani ex Chief Justice of Pakistan’s Supreme court Mr. Iftikar Chaudhary who was under house arrest is released, soon after his release lawyers and his supporters have rushed towards his residence. Big crowd of jubilating lawyers including president Pakistan Bar Council Mr. Itizaz Ahsan was visible near his residence soon after his release from house arrest.
Meanwhile session of NWFP provincial assembly is prorogued on 28th of March for formation of provincial government in NWFP.

Two persons in two different incidents are killed in Kohat, in Garhi Mawaz Khan area of Kohat on a women related dispute, Israr Khan was allegedly killed by accused Nawab Khan and his brother Tawab Khan both have managed to escape, on report of deceased Israr’s widow police station city staff has registered the case, search for their arrest is on.
Young Rab Nawaz while cleaning his pistol has become victim of bullet shot, in critically injured condition he was shifted to hospital where he had succumbed to his injuries, case regarding this incident is registered in Sadar police station of Kohat, and police is investigating the case. Deceased Israr was resident of Miangan Colony Kohat.
Without route permit Traffic police in Kohat district upon instructions takes dozens of public transport vehicles into custody from provincial transport department authority.
Meanwhile council of elders consist upon 14 members is formed to make peace between Mushti Khel and Kachai tribes, since last two days both the tribes are involved in heavy fighting and exchange of fire is still taking place, both rival tribes are using heavy weapons against each other so far no causalities are reported. In a meeting held in Ustarzai police station of Kohat on Tuesday in which district Nazim Mr. Gohar Saifullah, and DCO Kohat Mr. Kamran Zeb and DPO Kohat Mr. Waqar ud Din Syed and many other notables were also present, 14 members committee was formed to negotiate peace between both rival tribes.

Militants are still active in tribal area of Dara Adam Khel

In Dara Adam Khel total number of Taliban militant commandoes was around 4500, the militants whom managed to escape from Dara Adam Khel during security forces operation have penetrated in Kohat district and its surrounding areas, now off and on daily explosions and rockets attacks are their activity within and in surrounding areas of Dara Adam Khel,’ a source on condition of anonymity has said.
An Afghan refugee living in Paracha Town after his arrival from Kabul has said that law and order situation in Kabul is ameliorated and development work is underway, but now situation in NWFP province will deteriorate further.
‘General Zia ul Haq had concluded an agreement with UNHCR that till the year two thousand and one Afghan refugees will remain stay in Pakistan, in case government wants to send back the refugees to Afghanistan prior to this date, UNHCR will stop all aid to Pakistan,’ a source has said.

Parachinar capital of Kurram agency is rich in natural beauty, suburban areas of Karman and Shlowzan of Parchinar which are quite near to Tora Bora caves of Afghanistan are like heaven on earth because of their scenic beauty, fruit gardens, and water ravines and springs, scenic beauty of Shlowzan and Karman villages of Parachinar and hospitality of inhabitants of this area can be hardly found any where else in Pakistan. White Mountain popularly known as Kohi Sufaid reminds me beauty of California hills where golden grass emerges when snow melts down, my child hood friend Gulab Hussain a moderate Shia resides in Shlowzan village and takes care of the guest house owned by my Shia friend Akhlaq Hussain, my great mother prior to her marriage with my father had established first government girls school in Parachinar and had served their as principal for more then a year, she was respected by both Shia and Sunni community of Kurram agency. Akhlaq Hussain’s family was quite close to my maternal grand father’s family, thrice I went to spend my summer vacations in Parachinar, prior to revolution in Iran Shia Sunni sectarian conflict was of a very mild intensity, before 1979 in case of sectarian tension both sects people used to hit minarets of mosques and ImamBargahs, and most often their were no causalities.
In early 1990’s my shia friend Gulab Hussain after joining police department came to Hangu, in one of his visits of my residence in Kohat, Gulab Hussain had invited me to visit Iran, he was of the opinion that I have visited USA and shall see Iran too, he had told me Shia youth from Parachinar till Kohat is frequently visiting Iran, Iranian government is paying for their expenses, within few years of Iranian revolution sectarian tensions in Parachinar and Hangu were turned into bloody battles between Shia and Sunni sects.
Prior to appearance of Taliban militants in Hangu, Parachinar and North Waziristan, festival of Naurose was celebrated by Shia and Sunni sects together in Mitha Khel area of Kohat district and in Hangu, festival of Naurose is celebrated on 21st March and importance of the day is that on this day Hazrat Ali was appointed as caliph of Muslims, secondly at the same day holy prophet Musa (peace be upon him) when confronted by magicians had thrown his mace which was turned into snake, and thirdly at the same day holy prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was thrown into fire by cruel king but fire was turned into rose garden. These all three historic incidents were happened at the same date Bashir Hussain said that is why Shia sect people in Iran and in Pakistan’s Hangu district celebrate this day like third Eid, at this day Shia Muslims in Hangu and Metha Khel host green flags on all the shrines, wear new clothes and shoes and beat drums and enjoy dance and music. Sectarian violence erupted on 21st March in Hangu is diffused now through peace committee and Hangu district is calm now.

Five persons are killed in shoot out during meeting of council of elders

‘Five persons are killed four others are injured in shoot out during meeting of council of elders held on Saturday in FC Fort of Meer Asghar Meela Kachai village of Kohat district of NWFP Pakistan. Two days back in Kachai area unknown persons had opened fire on public transport vehicle of Mushti Khel tribesmen in which a women was killed, today meeting of council of elders of Mushti Khel tribe and Kachai tribesmen was held in FC Fort built by British colonial masters, during the meeting both tribes men have started cursing each other and shoot out between them was the out come of meeting, during shoot out proclaimed offender Mr. Soorat Ali, Malik Sher Hassan, Gul Imam, Gul Agha and Gul Imam are killed while four persons Izhar Abbas, Haleem Raza, Meer Zama Ali and Qadir Ali are critically injured, PRO Kohat Police and Special Branch sources have said.
. ‘Total seventy persons of Mushti Khel tribe were present in the meeting of elders at the end of meeting of council of elders in historic FC fort 30 elders of Mushti Khel tribe were stopped by police within the fort for their security, 40 persons of the same tribe were allowed to go back, boarded in public transport vehicles when 40 Mushti Khel tribesmen have reached near Rehan Meela area of Kachai village deceased out law Soorat Ali along with 40 other persons of Kachai tribe had opened fire on them, now on the ground situation is that only three injured persons have reached their homes rest of the 37 Mushti Khel tribesmen are missing, dead bodies are scattered in Rehan Meela and it is difficult to collect, count and identify the dead bodies.’ PRO of Kohat police Mr. Fazal Naeem has said.

Governor NWFP Mr. Awais Ghani while addressing a gathering at occasion of annual convocation in Kohat University of Science and Technology has said on Saturday that government is making maximum effort to promote higher education, to produce skilled people in all fields so they can work for stability and progress of the country. Governor has distributed degrees among 292 graduates and 15 medals he has awarded among 15 top position holder students of different departments. Festival turned into carnage in Hangu

‘On Friday in a festival of Jashin Nauroze celebrated by Shia sect people in Hangu district of NWFP Pakistan violence broke out when Sunni sect people celebrating Jashni Eid Miladun Nabi at the same day came out from their homes in procession, during clash between two groups so far 8 persons are injured mortar guns were used in the clash between both groups, curfew is imposed in Hangu now and security forces men are doing patrolling in the Hangu district, Kohat Hangu road is closed for traffic now and peace committee in Hangu is trying to reach negotiated sttlement between both sects,’ sources have said.
On Friday Jashni Eid ul Miladun Nabi is celebrated by people of Kohat in befitting manner, during sermons of Friday prayers Imam speakers have highlighted Sunnah of holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in all the mosques in Kohat, a procession of believers was started from historical mosque of Hazrat Haji Bahadur and gathering was held in Kohat Company Bagh where religious scholars have addressed the gathering and highlighted Sunna of holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).Meanwhile unknown miscreants have destroyed three Khasadar check posts by explosives during last few days many Khasadar check posts are destroyed by unknown miscreants, fear and unrest prevails among the residents of Dara Adam Khel.

Six Pakistan security forces men are killed in suicide bomb attack

On Thursday six security forces men are killed and 11 others are injured when a suicide bomber had rammed his car filled with explosives into a Pakistan security forces vehicle near Zairi Noor army camp in Wana area of Waziristan, Mullah Nazir group of militants in Waziristan tribal area has accepted the responsibility of suicide bomb attack and its spokes man while talking to correspondent of BBC on telephone has said that attack on Pakistan security forces is a revenge of last week missile attack in which 17 persons were killed in Waziristan.
President of Pakistan has prorogued the National Assembly session on Monday next week for election of Prime Minister, and according to media reports Vice President of USA Mr. Dick Cheney in a press conference in Kabul capital of Afghanistan has expressed the hope that new government in Pakistan will remain ally of USA in war against terror.
In a press conference in Peshawar Maulana Fazul ur Rehman has said that he supports the stance of nominated Awami National Party Chief Minister of NWFP Mr. Haider Hoti that peace process with local Taliban will be a negotiated settlement between government and Jihadi organizations.

Unannounced load shedding of electricity initiated by WAPDA Kohat authorities due to its unbelievably long duration both during the day and night is making life difficult for consumers in Kohat in general and in Paracha Town Kohat in particular. In presence of announced schedule of load shedding consumers can complete their task during supply of electricity hours but in absence of announced schedule of load shedding life has virtually came to standstill,’ WAPDA consumers have said.
Frequent aerial firing threatening Afghan refugee residents of Paracha Town Kohat and off and on explosions in different parts of Kohat district have become source of fear and harassment for Kohat district dwellers,’ eye witnesses and residents of Kohat have said.

War on terror

War on terror was a reaction of nine eleven incidents it was not a deliberate attempt on part of US Republican administration to wage war on Saddam Hussain of Iraq, a super power was attacked by terrorists and then definite reaction in shape of military action against supporters of terrorist forces in Iraq and Afghanistan was initiated by US Republican administration, while based in a third world country near Pak Afghan border I can safely approve the steps taken by President George W Bush which he has taken to meet the menace of terrorism, in case of lack of reaction from US administration the terrorists might have launched more attacks on US soil, now due to timely action taken against regime of Sadam Hussain which was not only committing atrocities against his own citizens in Iraq but was also harboring terrorists, all other adventurers in third world are under constant pressure.
Pakistan is now on path of democracy, due to its inclusion in war against terror by President George W Bush gradually root causes of dictatorship in Pakistan are being eliminated, if 1973 constitution is restored in its letter and spirit and fundamental rights of the people are restored in true sense, it will be another big achievement of President Bush in war against terror.
Afghanistan is also on path of democracy now same is the situation in Iraq, though in both countries resistance is still their, according to news paper reports, militants in Afghanistan are active in 70% area of Afghanistan only 30% area of Afghanistan is under control of Mr. Karazai administration, the better long term strategy in Afghanistan and Iraq can be better training and equipment for government forces including measures to counter the propaganda campaign launched by terrorist forces to mislead the citizens of both countries, what the sources tell is that forces of terror are bent upon destroying US economy and to disintegrate USA, with this motive the forces of terror are pursuing their tactics devoid of any respect for international law or ethics of war and peace.

Mrs. Fahmida Mirza is elected as speaker of Pakistan's National Assembly

‘ On Wednesday Mrs. Fahmida Mirza elected MNA from Badeen on Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian ticket is elected as first women speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly, she is now 18th speaker of lower house of Pakistan’s parliament. Rocket attacks

‘On Tuesday in a rocket attack residence of Parvez Maseeh was damaged, two rockets were fired from Sheikhan hills at 8:30pm by unknown miscreants apparently their target was CIA Police Station located in the Cantt area but they have missed the target and rockets have damaged the residence of Parvez Masseeh,’ sources have said.
Meeting of Reconciliatory Committee held on Wednesday in City Police Station Kohat was presided over by SP City Mr. Ather Waheed Qureishi, Convener of the committee was also present in the meeting, the participants were told that in year 2008 so far 16 cases are decided by the committee, SP City had expressed satisfaction over the performance of committee and had announced 150000/-rs for construction and maintenance of City Police station building.

First ever women speaker of Pakistan's National Assembly

Mrs. Fahmida Mirza is reportedly nominated for job of speaker in National assembly of Pakistan by leadership of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian, she is going to be the first ever women speaker of National Assembly which is lower house of the parliament in Pakistan. Tomorrow on Wednesday 19^th of March speaker and deputy speaker of National Assembly will be elected by elected members of National Assembly.

Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian, Awami National Party and Pakistan Muslim League (N) are now part of ruling coalition and Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Peoples Party (Sherpao) and Mutahida Qaumi Movement will jointly act as opposition in the National Assembly.

After February 18 polling former ruling party PML (Q) has lost its majority, and has got only 41 seats, while Pakistan Peoples Party by winning 87 seats is now in a position to form the government in coalition with ANP and PML (N). PPPP leadership has agreed to reach a settlement with its coalition partners over distribution of portfolios in federal cabinet, information secretary of PPPP has reportedly said that meeting between coalition partners are underway.

11 cricket players are kidnapped

‘11 Cricket players of Muhammad Zai tribe are kidnapped by 40 armed Bizote tribesmen from Karapa Maidan area of Muhammad Zai village of Kohat on Friday evening. Since last 150 years Bizote tribesmen of Orakzai Agency are having dispute over land with Muhammad Zai tribesmen of Kohat, during this age old dispute between both tribes so far 50 persons are killed from both sides in armed clashes. On 17th of March Council of elders will hold a meeting in Circuit House Kohat, Political agent of Orakzai agency, DCO Kohat, District Police Officer Kohat and elders of both Muhammadzai and Bizote tribes will participate in the meeting to negotiate peaceful settlement of dispute over Karapa Maidan Land between the warring tribes, Official sources have said.

Dispute over possession of Karapa Maidan area and a mountain between Muhammad Zai village and Bizote tribal area is bone of contention between Bizote and Muhammad Zai tribesmen from last 150 years, in this age long dispute despite of wastage of 50 precious lives from both sides so far no solution of dispute is found, either in council of elders or through government pressure, Bizote tribesmen are spread over the roadside from Sherkote village of Kohat till Kalaya capital of Orakzai agency, Bizote tribesmen are also present in Dara Adam Khel tribal area, these tribesmen are earning their livelihood by selling wood, and animals, they also work as tenants in Opium and Cannabis crop fields of Orakzai Agency to earn their living, Bizote tribesmen are well known for their hospitality, mostly they settle their disputes in council of elders.
Mean while PRO Kohat police has confirmed that eight persons killed by unknown persons in Orakzai agency were all outlaws escaping for justice by taking refuge in tribal area of Orakzai agency, identity of their killers is also not determined yet, but the tribesmen of Orakzai agency claims that all the eight unknown people killed by unknown people were burglars and outlaws.

Six police officials are injured in bomb attack

‘On Saturday morning at 4:30am in a bomb attack on Alam Shaheed police check post six police officials are injured, a time bomb was planted near the gate of police check post located on Kohat Shakardara road by unknown miscreants, it was exploded at 4:30am in the morning today, due to intensity of explosion the gate of check post was displaced and its roof was collapsed, Head Constable police Mr.Imam Hassan, Head Constable Mr. Basheer Khan, police constables Mr.Niaz Badshah, Mr. Burhan ud Din, Mr.Irfan and Abdur Rehman , sitting inside the check post were injured when its roof had collapsed due to intense time bomb explosion, Kohat police officials have reached the trouble spot immediately and injured police officials were shifted to KDA Hospital Kohat, due to minor injuries received by Mr. Burhan and Abdur Rehman both were released from hospital, but four other injured police officials are still in KDA Hospital in Kohat and their condition is reported to be improving,’ PRO Kohat Police Mr. Fazal Naeem has said.
Meanwhileit is confirmed by an official source on condition of anonymity that Al-Libi an Alqaida top man and his Arab companions were killed in missile attack last month near Wana area of Waziristan tribal area.

Indo-Pak relations

Beginning of the end of an era of ignorance and beginning of era of enlightenment and moderation is quite visible in Indo-Pak subcontinent now, a PhD Scholar Dr. Manmohan Singh as prime minister in India and an enlightened and moderate President Musharaf of Pakistan both have succeeded to avoid any major war between both countries during last few years, though Kashmir issue a major bone of contention between both countries is still alive.
Sudden increase in Indian defense budget pointed out by eminent Indian journalist Mr., Kuldip Nayer in his recent article has become a cause of concern for Pakistani intelligentsia, probably apprehensions regarding real Indian leadership intentions might be proved wrong but the reality is that history of two major wars between India and Pakistan, even in presence of nuclear deterrence between both countries causes worries among public circles in Pakistan whenever Indian leadership increases defense budget in India.
Mr. Kuldip Nayer had pointed out the huge figure concerning volume of trade between both India and Pakistan through far Eastern countries and had suggested that in case of the direct trade between both countries amount spent on customs and duties can be saved.
He had pointed a finger on Pakistani bureaucracy which according to him has become a major hurdle in promotion of free trade between both countries.
Factual position is that despite of existence of Shimla agreement and Lahore accord, Indian private TV channels are still propagating baseless allegations against Pakistan, the specific target of Indian private TV channels is ISI, propaganda campaign against ISI is launched in such a huge scale that it has become a popular saying in Pakistan that if a hen stops laying eggs in India its owner blames ISI for it.
I agree with Mr. Kuldip Nayer that their shall be direct trade between India and Pakistan, and I expect that Mr. Kuldip Nayer will agree with me that amicable settlement of Kashmir dispute is prerequisite for it, if Indian forces evacuate Kashmir valley and UN forces enter their to hold plebiscite, if Indian RAW stops its operations within Pakistan and on Pak-Afghan border there is no harm in direct trade between both countries. To hoodwink Pakistani leadership is not the motive of Indian political leadership and its think tanks then real and effective steps shall be taken to further improve the lot of teeming millions living in India and Pakistan in miserable living conditions.
Indian journalists and policy makers now must help to promote further the era of enlightenment by sticking to words of UN charter and other norms of civilized behavior under International Law, in conduct of interstate relations, same is advisable to their Pakistani counterparts too. Extremist forces are product of economic backwardness of both these neighboring countries, once the major disputes between both countries are settled, economic activity will definitely gain momentum and root cause of extremism will be eliminated.

On Monday 17th of Mach President of Pakistan Mr. Parvez Musharaf has prorogued the National Assembly session in Islamabad capital of Pakistan he has announced this while addressing a gathering in Pakistan Institute for Economic Development in Islamabad. He has said that new government has to continue war against terrorism, has to bring economic and political stability in the country, he has also mentioned heightened prices of Canola oil in international market and shortage of wheat in the country as problems to be addressed by the new government.

27 persons are killed in two bomb explosion occurred in Lahore Pakistan(updated)

‘On Tuesday morning 27 persons are killed and 170 others are injured in two bomb explosions in Lahore capital of Punjab province of Pakistan. One bomb was exploded at the gate of eight story building of FIA headquarters in Lahore and the other in residential area of Model Town Lahore by unknown miscreants. Injured persons are shifted to hospitals in Lahore,’ a source on condition of anonymity has conveyed this on telephone from Lahore, government media sources have also confirmed the incident.

‘27 people are killed, and 170 others are injured in two bomb explosions occurred in Lahore, injured are shifted to Ganga Ram Hospital, MEO Hospital and Services Hospital in Lahore. In Model Town Lahore two children and one other person is killed when a suicide bomber had blew up his car with explosives near an advertisement agency,’ official sources have said.

‘In a bomb explosion near the gate of FIA building 16 officials of Federal Investigation Agency are killed, a car filled with explosives was rammed into gate of FIA building by a suicide bomber the explosion was quite powerful and a big hole near the gate was created’ an official source has said on condition of anonymity.
President Parvez Musharaf and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Soomro have condemned these acts of violence and have expressed their grief and sorrow over loss of precious lives in two bomb explosions in ahore.

Mr. Kashmir Singh arrested in Pakistan on charges of espionage forty years ago was released alive by Pakistan government last week , on Monday a Pakistani citizen Mr. Khalid Mehmood arrested in India on charges of espionage in year 2005 is given back to Pakistan in shape of a dead body. Mr. Kashmir Singh after spending 40 years in Pakistani jails when released last week after his arrival in India he had submitted before media that he was Indian spy, and Pakistani authorities were unable to extract any information from him, though on Sunday again he has denied his previous statement before Indian media that he was spying in Pakistan for India.
Father of deceased Khalid Mehmood has reportedly said that his son in year 2005 had visited India to see a cricket match, but had lost his passport their and was arrested by Indian police when he had reported to them regarding his lost passport on espionage charges, he was tortured and kept in jail in India and finally he was tortured to death by Indian police, today on Wahga border his dead body was handed over to Pakistani authorities, in King Edward medical college his postmortem is underway.

Philosophy of Hitler is still alive

Indian freedom fighters came near to Hitler when their Hindu leader Mr. Subhash Chandar Bhosh held a meeting with Hitler in Germany, it was an era of Second World War and militant’s freedom fighters of India were convinced that by joining hands with Hitler of Germany they can win freedom from their British colonial masters of India.
Hitler was defeated in Second World War and most of the historians are of the view that he had committed suicide after killing his keep Madam Awa Brown in a bunker. But his Nazism still have routes in India and Pakistan which were founded by Mr. Subhash Chandar Bhosh and his companians.In Indian movies one can see the that monogram of Hitler Swastika on different objects in these movies, extremist wing of Bhartia Janta Party popularly known as ‘Rashtrya Savik Singh’ is promoting modified philosophy of Nazism under the banner of Hindu religion.
Due to influence of ideology of Hitler on Afghanistan due to historical ties of Afghanistan with Germany Taliban militants are also promoting Nazism in the name of Islam, beating of women and their opponents reminds us wearing Black Shirts and Brown Shirts followers of Hitler of Germany and Mussolini of Italy, basically Islam like Christianity and Jewish religion does not allow such violent actions, Islam forbids the Muslims to even participate or hold funeral prayers of the one who had committed suicide. Muslims are allowed by their religion to enter in marriage relationship with Christians and Jews.
My own humble opinion is that Dutch movie maker has misconceived Islam while terming it a fascist religion; it is Nazi’s and Fascists whom are involved in promotion of their ideology not only in the name of Islam but also in the name of Hindu religion in Subcontinent. Neither Christanity nor Jewish religion or Islam allows such cruel acts which are now commonly practiced in the name of religion in many parts of the world.

One person is injured in cross fire on Kohat Peshawar road

‘Retired Brigadier Mr. Majeed resident of Behzadi Chikarkote Kohat is hospitalized in Military Hospital Rawalpindi after paralysis attack last week, his condition is reported to be improving now,’ his son Mr. Abid Majeed has said.

President agrees to resign

’President Parvez Musharaf has agreed to resign on Monday with the intention to defuse political tension on a guarantee that he will not be prosecuted in the court of law, Musharaf has informed Chief of Army Staff General Parvez Kyani regarding his decision to resign from his office in the larger national interest during the meeting in Army House,’ a highly placed source has revealed.

Impacts of TV serials

Mr. Maaz Khan four years old son of mine when had burnt down headphone of my laptop last week I was thrilled to know that he can stress for fulfillment of his demands through violent methods, he had demanded Samosa and Pepsi when I forgot to bring those edible items for him, he had silently extracted cigarette lighter from my pocket and had entered the room where laptop is placed on table along with papers having statistics about polling stations and election results, he had burnt the papers carrying list of polling stations near to the papers on table were headphone its wire and covers made of sponge were burnt to ashes, thanks God laptop was saved due to timely information provided to me by my elder son Faraz Khan I had immediately extinguished fire and had snapped Moaz Khan while holding burnt headphone in his both hands, two snaps of Moaz Khan are now saved in my USB.
Mother of Moaz Khan came up with long list of his previous activities according to her, once he had mixed peppers with sugar and salt in kitchen to serve it to her twin sister and was caught red handed, at another occasion he had stomached full bottle of a tonic drink without mixing any water in it, that tonic is concentrated and its few drops are enough to make one glass after adding water into it and is normally used in summers.
Thanks to Indian Star TV channel, my daughter four years old Rida and her twin brother Maaz were heard as shouting ‘Jay Kali’ while running after the cats with kitchen knives in their hands, when I came out from my room to control the situation both the children were angry and wanted to take revenge from their cats both cats were guilty of disturbing them during sleep hours.
Another dangerous slogan disseminated among children through Indian Star TV channel is ‘Jay Satan’ in its serial worshippers of Satan by holding axe in hands kill the people and shout this slogan, most often when children are playing in the lawn I hear this slogan while working on my laptop. Despite of my best efforts I am failed to install antenna which catches only Pakistan TV channels, children are least interested in it, during my childhood American serials were displayed on PTV, Starsky and Hutch, CHIPS, and Six million dollar Man were the best serials which I had viewed in my childhood, presently PTV channels are not displaying any popular American TV serial same is the case with Indian TV channels. The result is that children are confined to see certain boring puppet shows or quiz programs, and boring lengthy serials written by Asian writers, the result is that now children are more interested in watching serials full of violence and crime.

Six persons are killed in suicide bomb attack

‘Six persons are killed in a suicide bomb attack on Tuesday when two suicide bombers motor cycle riders launched an attack on Parking area of Naval War College Lahore. One suicide bomber had hit his motorcycle with gate of Parking area of Naval war College located in Lahore capital city of Punjab and the other had hit a car parked in Parking area of the college with his motorcycle due to explosions of explosive tied around their bodies, fire was spread in parking area and gas cylinders of cars parked their started exploding, fire which was spread due to explosions is extinguished now. Injured persons are shifted to Combined military Hospital Lahore and Services Hospital Lahore,’ it is revealed in news bulletin on state owned media in Pakistan.
President Parvez Musharaf and Prime Minister Mr. Mian Muhammad Soomro have condemned the attack and have ordered investigation and arrest of the main culprit behind these suicide bomb attacks. On Monday in a meeting between Chief of the Army Staff General Ishfaq Parvez Kiani and President of Pakistan Mr. Parvez Musharaf assurance by president was rendered that majority party will be invited to form the government in Pakistan. Final results of February 18 polling are officially notified by Election Commission of Pakistan and now political leaders are making hectic efforts to reach compromise solutions regarding formation of government at federal and provincial levels. Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian with its 87 seats in National Assembly of Pakistan is in a leading position.
Meanwhile five elected members of PML (Q) have joined Pakistan Muslim League (N), change of loyalties and affiliations is quite common in Pakistan, its history is full of such incidents, once a feudal questioned by his friends regarding his ever changing party loyalties, his reply was that he does not change his loyalties it is the government which keeps on changing political parties in Pakistan.
President Parvez Musharaf an Army genius after giving absolute freedom to media in Pakistan has created a situation in which survival of political parties and their leaders become difficult, almost all the political parties excluding PML(Q) are in habit of working in environment in which state owned media and private media channels were denied of absolute freedom, more then 50 private TV channels and absolute freedom to state owned Radio and TV channels are the main achievement of President Musharaf regime.
For mature, honest and talented person in Pakistan office of prime minister has very little charm, according to Mr. Tariq Mehmood an ex leader of PML(Q) ex premier of Pakistan Mr. Shaukat Aziz proposal regarding pension and other privileges for outgoing prime minister of Pakistan was rejected by President Musharaf. In absence of any benefit of service only very rich or rogue person can accept the position as premier of Pakistan now.

‘Number of Sunday suicide bomb victims in Zarghan Khel area of Dara Adam Khel tribal area of Pakistan is raised to 46, suicide bomber when launched attack the meeting of Council of elders was over and only 60 to seventy people selected as a committee were sitting on the ground that is why number of causalities is quite low, during the meeting of elders some 1500 tribesmen were present in an open field in Zarghone Khel area of Dara Adam Khel,’ an eyewitness has said.
‘During last month Security forces operation in tribal area of Dara Adam Khel, Uzbuks, and Punjabi militants mostly from Sargodha and Mianwali districts of Punjab were fighting against security forces in Dara Adam Khel, militants of Dara Adam Khel had got more then one and half million rupees from two victims which they had abducted, one victim despite of payment of ransom was mercilessly killed by militant abductors, the jackets filled with explosives and land mines utilized by militants in Dara Adam Khel were of SUN company and were manufactured in India and Germany,’ Mr. Kamran resident of Dara Adam Khel has said.
Today on Monday around eight bomb explosions and once sounds of bullet shots are heard by residents of Paracha Town Kohat which is at a distance of four to five miles from Dara Adam Khel.

32 persons are killed in a suicide bomb attack while 35 others are injured when in Zarghone Khel area of Dara Adam Khel in a meeting of council of elders a suicide bomber blew himself up with explosives at 11: am on Sunday, head of the suicide bomber is found by security officials..
Injured persons are admitted to Lady reading hospital in Peshawar, emergency in Kohat and Peshawar hospitals is imposed, security in Kohat district is further beefed up.
According to Rescue 15 police officials the road between Kohat and Peshawar is closed due to security reasons.
‘Elders of Zarghun Khel, Tor Chapar, Sheraki, Bosti Khel and Akharwal tribes of Dara Adam Khel were gathered in an open field of Zarghun Khel located near Mullah Khel check post to hold a meeting to discuss ouster of miscreants and militants from Dara Adam Khel tribal area which is located between Peshawar and Kohat, hundreds of tribesmen and their elders were gathered together at 11:am a man of medium hight and 19 to 22 years of age had entered in the gathering of tribesmen and had blew himself with explosives, top man supporting Taliban militants in Dara Adam Khel Haji Sadiq and General Secretary Qaumi Tehrik Dara Adam Khel Maulana Sabir 38 other persons are killed in suicide bomb explosion,’ tribesman Kamran of Dara Adam Khel has said.

A suicide bomber has reportedly rammed his white Suzuki car into a security officials vehicle in Jar village of Bajure tribal area a civilian and security official is killed and 21 others are injured on Saturday. Both civilian official and security official was taken to hospital where they have succumbed to their injuries.

Seven mortar shells are found and diffused by Kohat police

On Saturday seven mortar shells are found and diffused by Kohat police near toll plaza on Indus Highway. SHO Riaz Khan and Islam ud Din of police station Jungle Khel Kohat were on patrolling duty when they have sighted seven mortar shells in a bush near Indus Highway bridge in a bush, they had immediately called Rescue 15 bomb disposal squad, incharge Rescue 15 Mr. Ishaq Gul and Shaukat Habib reached swiftly at the trouble spot and have skillfully exploded the mortar shells, during this operation for half an Indus Highway was closed and Southern districts were cut off from Peshawar capital of NWFP.In police station Jungle Khel Kohat case against unknown miscreants is filed.
On Friday DSP Javed Iqbal killed in bomb blast in Laki Marwat when brought for burial to his native area Mingora Swat during his funeral prayers another bomb was exploded in which so far 50 persons are killed.
